2008 Pink Pajama Party article continued...

Throughout the night, women enjoyed services in our Pampered Pink Spa sponsored by Dr. Irene Minor and Dr. Cathy Carr. Spa services ranging from manicures, pedicures, massages and facials to neck wraps and foot baths were well received by all ladies in attendance. Women danced in style with our favorite Indianapolis cover band, Living Proof and girlfriends captured their fun together with pictures taken on our Pink Pajama Party bed.

As if that wasn’t enough, women shopped at our silent auction choosing from vast selections of hand made throws and Indianapolis Colts memorabilia to designer jewelry and a week’s stay in Cabo San Lucas, Mexico. It was our greatest auction so far, raising over $21,000 for our Indiana sisters with breast cancer.

We all woke up to a warm breakfast sponsored by St. Vincent Women’s Hospital. What better way to host a Saturday breakfast than with Jeff and Karen Saturday? Jeff, center for the 2007 Super Bowl Champion Indianapolis Colts and his wife Karen shared their story of their commitment to breast cancer causes in the Greater Indianapolis area.

Overall, we are excited to share that this year’s event raised over $54,000 and brought together more than 325 women. Because of your commitment to this event 108 women will be assisted by I.W.I.N. On behalf of these women, we would like to thank everyone for your support. Although you may never know the names and stories for each of our future recipients, you can be assured that you have touched each and every client with the power of YOUR love!
