The “Power of Your Love” Shines! - I.W.I.N.'s 2008 Pink Pajama Party raises $54,000!!
The fourth annual I.W.I.N. Foundation Pink Pajama Party hosted February 22-23 at the Indianapolis Marriott North was more than just a pajama party! It was a powerful event of monumental proportion! This year’s theme, “The Power of Love”, based on the words of the late Luther Vandross, enveloped I.W.I.N’s mission as well as serve as an example of the generosity of all in attendance.
This year’s event was again graciously sponsored by Vera Bradley. The women of Vera Bradley hosted a pre-party with hors d’oeuvres and cocktails and provided each attendee with a signature Vera Bradley wristlet in several complimentary patterns. The day’s snowfall and icy conditions didn’t keep our guests away. More than 250 women attended this pre-event located in the Marriott Bistro.
The snow kept falling and the women kept coming. They came from all over the country… Georgia, Alabama, New York and Florida. They came from all over the state… Lafayette, Fort Wayne, Richmond and Anderson, to name a few. They came dressed in a plethora of evening pajama attire! Everything from pink polka dots, boas and tiaras, bathrobes with pink ribbons and pink cowboy hats decorated the ballroom.
